First commissar to resign demanding a coalition, buried on Red Square

A Bolshevik from the Iskra agent network. As Moscow Soviet chairman in 1917 he led the October uprising and became the first People's Commissar for Trade and Industry, but resigned demanding a multi-party socialist coalition. Later returned to economic administration; buried on Red Square.
