Party of Narodnik Communists
나로드니키 공산당

In depth
What kind of party was it?
Left SRs who could not accept the Moscow revolt declared themselves Narodnik Communists on 18 August 1918 around Grigory Zaks, A. P. Oborin and others, publishing a manifesto on the 21st. In September they became an independent party. It had about 3,000 members and 5,000 sympathisers, held seven seats in the All-Russian Central Executive Committee and published the paper Znamya trudovoi kommuny. It replaced the SR motto "In struggle you will win your rights" with "Through labour and struggle to communism".
Why did it soon disappear?
It supported Soviet power and its policies. On 6 November an extraordinary congress decided to dissolve the party and merge with the Russian Communist Party, and its members joined individually.
