Cominform 1948 Bucharest Conference
코민포름 1948년 부쿠레슈티 회의
The second Cominform conference, held in Bucharest in June 1948. It was convened to condemn the 'nationalist deviation' of the Communist Party of Yugoslavia, which refused to attend. Andrei Zhdanov, heading the Soviet delegation, took a more restrained line than his rival Georgy Malenkov; Stalin, infuriated, stripped Zhdanov of all his posts and exiled him to a sanatorium, where he died two months later. The conference adopted the June 28 resolution expelling Yugoslavia from the Cominform, and the organization's headquarters moved from Belgrade to Bucharest.
