The encyclopaedia entry of 1930
Sereisky wrote the homosexuality entry in volume 17 of the first Great Soviet Encyclopaedia. He called laws targeting homosexuals absurd and referred to campaigns to abolish them in capitalist countries.
Published three years before Soviet recriminalization, the entry allows Roldugina to question the idea that a unified medical position straightforwardly produced the new criminal law.
