Organic Composition of Capital
자본의 유기적 구성
In Marxian political economy, the value ratio of constant capital (c) to variable capital (v), expressed as c/v, reflecting the technical composition of capital in value terms. The OCC tends to rise with capital accumulation and technical progress, serving as the core driver of the tendency of the rate of profit to fall. The higher the ratio, the smaller the share of labour-power in total capital, and since living labour is the sole source of surplus value, a rising OCC exerts downward pressure on the average rate of profit.
