Triple Crown
트리플 크라운
A term in Korean politics describing a situation in which the same political party simultaneously holds the presidency (executive), a majority in the National Assembly (legislature), and a majority of local government heads: a three-level sweep of power. The term is borrowed from horse racing via sports usage. It is analogous to the US concept of a 'government trifecta' but distinct in that it includes local government power, reflecting South Korea's unitary central–local structure rather than a federal system.
