크베트코비치-마체크 협정

Cvetković–Maček Agreement

1939년 8월 유고슬라비아 왕국의 드라기샤 크베트코비치와 블라드코 마체크가 체결한 정치적 타협이다. 협정은 크로아티아 바노비나를 설치해 광범한 자치권을 부여했지만, 세르브인과 크로아트 사이의 국가 문제를 포괄적으로 해결하지는 못했다.

상세

협정은 사바 바노비나와 연안 바노비나를 통합하고 일부 인접 지역을 편입해 크로아티아 바노비나를 만들었다. 농업·상공업·교육·사법·내무행정 등은 바노비나의 관할로 넘어갔고 외교·군사·경찰 등은 중앙정부에 남았다. 마체크는 부총리가 되었으며 크로아티아 농민당 인사들이 연립정부에 참여했다. 그러나 세르브계 주민과 정치세력의 반발, 보스니아 헤르체고비나의 대표 문제, 우스타샤와 공산주의자들의 비판이 이어졌고, 1941년 추축국의 유고슬라비아 침공으로 협정 체제는 붕괴했다.
