내재적 자율성
Embedded Autonomy
피터 에반스(Peter Evans)가 1995년 저서 『내재된 자율성』에서 제시한 개념으로, 성공적인 발전국가는 베버적 관료 자율성(특수 이익에 포획되지 않는 능력)과 사회와의 긴밀한 제도적 연계(내재성)라는 두 조건을 동시에 충족해야 한다는 이론이다. 전자가 없으면 국가는 약탈적으로 전락하고, 후자가 없으면 정보와 조정 능력을 상실한다. 에반스는 한국, 브라질, 인도의 정보기술 산업 비교를 통해 이 개념을 실증적으로 검토했다.
