Poyekhali!

1961년 4월 12일 유리 가가린이 보스토크 1호 발사 순간에 외친 말로, 문자 그대로는 '갑시다!'라는 뜻이다. 가가린은 발사대의 긴장을 풀기 위해 일부러 밝고 평범한 목소리로 이 말을 골랐다고 회고했으며, 그간 훈련에서 시험비행사 마르크 갈라이가 규정된 '승무원, 이륙합니다' 대신 쓰던 관행을 이어받은 것이기도 하다. 이 한마디는 곧 우주 시대의 개막을 알리는 상징이 되었고, 소련과 동구권 전역에서 새로운 시작을 뜻하는 일상 표현으로 자리잡았다.
