우주 유영

Spacewalk

우주인이 우주선 밖으로 나가 진공에서 활동하는 것을 뜻한다. 1965년 3월 18일 소련의 알렉세이 레오노프가 보스호트 2호에서 12분 9초간 인류 최초의 우주 유영을 수행했으며, 팽창한 우주복 탓에 귀환이 위태로웠다. 소련은 '열린 우주로의 진출'(выход в открытый космос), 미국은 '선외 활동'(extravehicular activity, EVA)이라는 용어를 썼다.
