Military-Fascist Conspiracy

군사파시스트 음모

Part of Great Purge

The official label for the fabricated June 1937 case in which Marshal Tukhachevsky and seven other senior Red Army commanders were secretly tried and shot as an 'anti-Soviet Trotskyist military organization.' Fabricated by Stalin and Yezhov, the case was the military turning point of the Great Purge and triggered the dismissal of over 37,000 officers. All defendants were posthumously rehabilitated in 1957; the 1964 Shvernik Commission confirmed the evidence was entirely falsified.
