Open Weights
훈련된 인공지능 모델의 학습된 매개변수(가중치와 편향)를 공개적으로 배포하는 관행이자 그 매개변수 자체를 가리키는 용어다. 누구나 모델을 다운로드해 자체 인프라에서 실행·미세조정·배포할 수 있게 하지만, 훈련 코드·데이터셋·중간 체크포인트가 함께 공개되지 않는다는 점에서 완전한 오픈소스 AI와 구별된다. 2023년 메타의 라마(Llama) 시리즈와 미스트랄(Mistral)의 공개를 기점으로 주요 AI 기업들의 표준적 공개 방식으로 자리 잡았으며, 폐쇄형 API 모델에 대한 기술 주권 확보 수단으로 주목받고 있다.
