First Chief Directorate (PGU)

1945년 8월 20일 국방위원회 결의 제9887호로 특별위원회와 함께 창설된 소련 원자력 사업의 실무 집행 기관이다. 반니코프가 초대 국장을 맡았으며, 모든 연구소·설계국·건설 조직·산업 공장을 직접 관할하며 특별위원회의 결정을 집행했다. 1953년 6월 26일 중형기계제작부로 개편되어 소련 원자력 산업의 부처 단위 모체가 되었다.
