러시아 임시정부
Russian Provisional Government
1917년 2월 혁명으로 니콜라이 2세가 퇴위한 뒤 제헌의회 소집까지 러시아를 통치한 과도정부다. 국가두마 임시위원회와 페트로그라드 소비에트의 협상으로 출범했으며, 게오르기 리보프 공이 초대 총리, 알렉산드르 케렌스키가 후임 총리를 맡았다. 출범 직후부터 페트로그라드 소비에트와의 이중권력 상태에 놓였고, 전쟁 지속·토지 개혁 지연·제헌의회 소집 연기로 민중의 지지를 급속히 잃었다. 4월 위기, 6월 공세의 실패, 7월 사태, 코르닐로프 사건을 거치며 권위가 붕괴되었고, 10월 혁명으로 볼셰비키에 의해 전복되었다.
