1950년 1월 13일부터 8월 1일까지 소련이 유엔 안전보장이사회를 보이콧한 사건. 중국의 유엔 대표권을 둘러싼 분쟁이 발단이었다. 소련은 국민당 정부(타이완) 대신 중화인민공화국이 안보리 중국 의석을 차지해야 한다고 요구했고, 이 안이 부결되자 소련 대표 야코프 말리크가 퇴장하며 보이콧을 선언했다. 이 공백으로 인해 6·25전쟁 발발 직후 안보리 결의 제82~85호가 소련의 거부권 없이 통과되어 유엔군의 한국 파병이 결정되었다.
