적위대

Red Guards

1917년 러시아 혁명기 노동자들이 공장 단위로 자발적으로 조직한 무장 분견대로, 10월 혁명에서 볼셰비키의 주력 타격 부대였으며 내전 초기 소비에트 권력의 군사적 토대가 되었다. 지역 소비에트와 공장위원회에 기반한 자율적 구조였으나 정규군에 맞서기에는 한계가 뚜렷했고, 1918년 1월 노동자-농민 적군(붉은 군대) 창설과 함께 해산·흡수되었다.
